The best SEO strategy is not to optimize at all. Most users trend to search in natural language, not well known keywords, or key phrases. My article Build WebSite Traffic from Search Engines finally ranks well on Google for my targeting key words Increase Hits and Build Website Traffic. But the log file tells me that not many users use those keywords for their search even though keyword suggestion tools indicate that there're thousands of search per month for those search terms. The page did generate some traffic from Google for search terms like increase search hits, building web site traffic, and etc.
